Collaborating with the Nayamba Trade Centre (NTC) in Chisamba, Wright House channels its passion into empowering women through spinning, weaving, and sewing. The skilled hands of these artisans, working on local looms and sewing machines, meticulously craft each poncho from cotton or bamboo fibres. These energy-efficient workshops, bathed in natural light, are a testament to their dedication to sustainable practices.
The women of NTC continuously push boundaries, expanding their expertise to include natural dyes sourced from indigenous plants. This commitment to innovation will be showcased in the upcoming winter collection of 2023, where a myriad of white, yellow, orange, red, and brown poncho combinations will be available.
Furthermore, the women of Wright House and NTC warmly welcome visitors to their enchanting workshops in Chisamba, where they can witness the mastery and artistry of creating each extraordinary poncho.
