Welcome on Board Proflight

Dear Esteemed Customers,

Welcome aboard our flight, and a happy new year to you! I hope you celebrated the start of 2024 safely and in good spirits with family and friends. As we mark the final days of the festive season, I want to reflect on 2023 and thank you, our frequent fliers, for your patronage over the past 12 months.

The year 2023 was another transformative year for Proflight Zambia. It was a year in which we strengthened the airline further by expanding our route network and adding new aircraft to our fleet. Both are very important initiatives! 

Among other initiatives was the addition of two more Bombardier CRJ100/200 aircraft and one BAE Jetstream 41 aircraft, respectively. One CRJ aircraft is configured for passenger flights, and the other is a dedicated parcel freighter. On this note, we are excited to announce the launch of our cargo schedule in January 2024 between Lusaka and Johannesburg. The flights will operate twice weekly on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This is a significant milestone for us as Proflight. In the world of trade and industry, time is often synonymous with money. That is why air freight has been established as a decisive factor for local, national and international economic development in recent decades. Fast-moving markets increasingly rely on fast, safe and reliable methods for transporting goods. We are excited to be entering the air freight market!

We also saw the reintroduction of the direct flight between Lusaka and Durban, the launch of scheduled flights to Kalumbila, and the launch of a direct flight between Lusaka and Cape Town. These exciting developments offer more travel flexibility and options to our valued customers. The Cape Town route is becoming immensely popular, and during the holiday season, we added an extra frequency to meet this demand. We intend to increase the frequency of this sensational route. 

The year 2024 is set to be another exciting year for us at Proflight. We look forward to working further on several initiatives to deliver the best services and outstanding customer experience.
