GATBRO Celebrates Zambia at 60:
Empowering Consumers by Giving Back

As Zambia marks 60 years of independence, Gatbro International proudly celebrates alongside the nation, playing an active role in empowering consumers through innovative promotions and giveaways. Our recent “Buy Doom and Win a House” competition culminated in a celebratory handover ceremony, a significant moment in our commitment to giving back to the community. This event was graced by the presence of the Deputy Permanent Secretary Alex C. Mapushi, Shoprite General Manager Charles Bota, and Gatbro’s Director of Sales & Marketing, Mohammed Imran.

Doom “Buy and Win a House” Competition

The “Buy Doom and Win a House” promotion is one of many such initiatives to acknowledge loyal customers and make a difference by rewarding them with their own home. With over 16,000 participants, one lucky winner received the keys to their dream home and the second winner enjoyed a full living room makeover. The third and fourth prize winners each scored a complete solar inverter unit, including batteries and seven solar panels, while four additional winners were awarded shopping vouchers worth K5,000 each. This initiative demonstrates our dedication to enhancing customer satisfaction and promoting economic empowerment while fostering community development.

Partnering with local communities and organisations has enabled us to positively impact the lives of numerous Zambians. As we reflect on Zambia’s diamond jubilee, we are reminded of the importance of giving back to the community.
